Animal Spirit Home was created by GiGi and her daughter Safia, united by a deep love for animals and a desire to help those suffering on the streets of Marrakech.

What began with just a few rescued cats and dogs gradually became a lifelong mission. Today, we care for rescued dogs, cats, and horses who have been abandoned, abused, neglected, or left to survive in heartbreaking conditions.

Our animals do not live in cages or shelters — they live in a loving home environment where they receive care, safety, freedom, and affection.

Among our rescues are horses once used in the film industry and later abandoned to starvation. Saving them inspired Safia’s equine welfare project, CavaliSpirit, dedicated to improving the lives of horses and working animals in Morocco.

Animal Spirit Home is also a family effort, supported by loved ones, volunteers, and people who believe every animal deserves compassion and respect.
